Movement is good for us. It has the power to heal. Static positions can lead to inflammation and dis-ease. So we keep moving, in different ways and multiple directions.
Mindful movement practises like Pilates, Yoga and Slings have the additional benefit that it stimulates both body and mind.
My classes often combine my experience as a Pilates, Yoga, Slings Myofascial Training® Practitioner but also my love of all movement.
I believe a good movement class leaves you with a sense of space. Space between the joints and space in the mind. It allows you to breathe better, feel taller and free from tension. You feel more mobile, open and have freedom to move better. The mind feels more at ease and as a result you connect better with yourself and those around you.
